Who it’s for:
Individuals aged 18–30 (inclusive) with a passport from an eligible country.
What you can do:
- Stay in Australia for up to 12 months
- Work to support your travel
- Apply for a second Work and Holiday visa if eligible

Applicants from China, India, and Vietnam must first register in a pre-application ballot and be selected before they can apply.

Who it’s for:
Holders or former holders of a Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462).
Requirements:
- Aged 18-30 and from an eligible country
- Completed 3 months of specified subclass 462 work
- Hold a valid visa or have had one expire in the last 28 days
What you can do:
- Stay an additional 12 months
- Work in any job during your stay
- Apply for a third Work and Holiday visa if eligible

Holders or former holders of a second Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462).
Requirements:
- Aged 18–30 and from an eligible country
- Completed 6 months of specified subclass 462 work

What you can do:
- Stay a further 12 months
- Work in any occupation during your stay
